Most mineral SPF makes a trade-off. You get protection, but you also get a white cast, a heavy texture, or a formula that just sits on skin and does nothing else. SONNI doesn't work that way.
We use non-nano zinc technology that delivers broad-spectrum protection with less material, so it blends completely across every skin tone. Skincare actives like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, squalane, and colloidal oat are built into every formula, so the SPF is actively supporting your skin barrier while it protects. The entire line is fragrance-free, essential-oil-free, and developed alongside board-certified dermatologists who specialize in reactive skin. In blind testing, 78% of consumers preferred SONNI over leading mineral SPFs.
All three SunDay formulas are formulated to blend seamlessly across skin tones. Mineral SPF always takes a few seconds to work into skin. Invisible Defense SPF 40+ is the most layer-friendly for textured skin, facial hair, and deeper tones. Mineral Serum SPF 50+ is a protective serum with a grippy finish. Body Balm SPF 40+ protects, moisturizes, and disappears into skin.
SPF measures how well a formula shields against UVB — the rays behind sunburn. Our SunDay SPF is broad-spectrum, meaning it also defends against UVA, the longer rays tied to visible skin aging. Both, every day, is the goal
Every SunDay formula uses non-nano mineral filters and skips fragrance, alcohol, parabens, and chemical SPF actives. All three are suitable for sensitive skin. Body Balm is the most stripped-back of the three (no added skincare actives) which makes it the easiest to share with kids. The Serum and Invisible Defense include ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid for adult skin concerns. For children under six months, check with your pediatrician first.
All three formulas are non-comedogenic and free of pore-clogging ingredients. The face formulas layer cleanly over tretinoin, azelaic acid, and benzoyl peroxide without pilling.
